Mallory McCarn

  • Student at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Will graduate in 2012 with a major in Sociology and minors in Childern's Literature and Childhood Studies and American Studies.
  • Has trained under choreographers such as Jason Parsons, Tina D'Amato-Sidoni, Kyle Hill, Dee Caspary, Tina Caspary, Lauren Adams, Nick Lazzarini, Travis Wall, and Mia Michaels
  • Has skilled knowledge and education in Jazz, Ballet, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Tap, and Musical Theatre.

Honors, Awards, Experience:

  • Top Soloist from the USA at Showstopper National Dance Competition

  • First soloist in Showstopper Regional Competition history to tie herself, in first overall, with both of her solos.

  • Crowned Miss Race City 2009

  • 20 years dance experience (twelve of which were competitive dance years)
  • Eight years teaching experience in various styles of dance for all ages of youth

Community Involvement:

  • Creator of "You Are What You Are, Crooked Spine and All" blog in hopes to reach out and support those coping with Scoliosis.
