Halloween at The Perfect Step
The Perfect Step will host
a Halloween party in each of our dance classes the week of October
22-25. We invite our students to wear
their costumes to class that week.
However, please note that if your child’s costume restricts their
movement, then please try your best to adapt their costume so that they can
participate in class. ***Note for competition
team members, please wear your costumes for tap, clogging or hip hop classes
only (not Jazz, Conditioning or Ballet) Classes Cancelled Wednesday October 31 The Perfect Step will
cancel its classes on Wednesday, October 31 to allow students to celebrate
Halloween festivities. Since there are
five (5) Wednesdays in October, we will not have a makeup class. Have a safe and Happy Halloween. Recital Fee/Costume Deposit
As most of you are aware, a recital fee of $30.00
per dancer is due in October, along with your regular monthly tuition. Also,
recital costume deposits will be collected in November ($30.00 per costume)
& the balance will be due in February. Parent Observation Our official parent
observation week is November 5-9, 2007. Parents are welcome to come into the
classrooms and watch their dancers during this week. Please note, during all other weeks we ask
that parents refrain from entering dance rooms during dance classes. Thank you! Shoe Swap Bulletin Board If are looking to purchase
dance shoes or if you have any gently used dance shoes for sale, be sure to
check out the shoe swap bulletin board beside Studio A!

Congratulations, October Students of the Month!! The Perfect Step is pleased
to begin our Student of the Month Program.
Each month we will award four students as recipients of the “Student
of the Month” award. We will name one
student of the month for each of the following four class types: (1) Pre-School Dance Classes; (2) Mini
& Petite Dance Classes/Boys Dance Classes; (3) Junior/Teen Dance Classes;
(4) Competition Team Dancers. These
students will receive a Certificate of Achievement, as well as a
Congratulations signs to put in their yard during the month. We will also post their picture in the
lobby and on a congratulations page on our website. The
following students have been selected as October Students of the Month: Rachel Lowry Murphy Burrell Lydia Davis Mara Hayes Gastonia Christmas Parade The Perfect Step will be
participating in the annual Gastonia Christmas Parade. This is typically scheduled for the first
Sunday in December, which will be Sunday, December 2, 2007. As soon as we have more information, we
will pass this along to you. Please
note that the parade usually begins around 1:00pm and lineup is usually
around 11:30am. Order Windsuits/Sweatsuits
for the Parade The Perfect Step will begin
taking orders for windsuits & sweatshirts for
our students and parents on October 8th. We encourage our students to wear these
during the Christmas parade (although it is not required). The order forms will be emailed to you
later this week and additional forms are available at the front desk. We have size samples at the front
desk. The deadline to order & receive your windsuit/sweatshirt
by the Gastonia Christmas Parade is November 8, 2007!! |
