WELCOME to all our Dancers!!

We would like to welcome everyone back after a great summer!  Here at The Perfect Step, we are excited about the start of our 5th dance season and want to tell you about some exciting changes and additions at the studio:

  • Welcome to our new instructors this year:  Keith Darby (Ballet), Jeron Howie (Hip Hop), Megan Moose (Ballet & Zumba), Pam Dalpiaz (Zumba) and Taffy Allen (Zumba)!!
  • We have a 4th studio room, “Studio D,” fully functioning with mirrors and a dance floor and we are ready to put it to good use!
  • We have a new and improved website to keep you up to date with the latest studio news, upcoming dates, photos and other information – check it out at www.theperfectstep.com
  • This year we will be communicating with dancers and parents by email – we will send all monthly newsletters, invoices, and other correspondence via email rather than handing out paper copies.  We encourage you to read these emails thoroughly and to let us know if your email address changes over the course of the year!!

NO CLASSES on Labor Day, September 3

The Perfect Step will be closed on Monday, September 3 for Labor Day.  Classes will resume on Tuesday, September 4.  If you have any questions, please contact Stacey or Stephani.

Please help keep our studio looking great!

As we begin our dance season at The Perfect Step we would like to encourage and remind our dancers to please label all of your dance shoes and belongings so that we can easily identify who they belong to!  Also, please make every effort to keep the dressing room and lobby areas trash free and make sure you keep up with your things.

Welcome Back, Dancers!!

Join us for our fabulous Adult Classes:

The Perfect Step is pleased to announce that we have a variety of adult classes to offer:

  • Adult Exercise Classes:  We are now selling Exercise Program Cards good for 10 adult classes (Zumba or Yoga/Pilates) for $50.00 per card.  The cards are good for 3 months and you can use them for any of the adult Zumba or Yoga/Pilates classes (the teacher will simply punch the card at each class you attend).  This is the perfect way to exercise while your children are taking dance lessons and the card gives you flexibility to structure your workout routine around your busy schedule!  We offer two Zumba Classes per week – Monday 6:30-7:30pm and Wednesday 5:30-6:30pm and we will soon be offering one Yoga/Pilates class per week.  If you would like to purchase an Exercise Program Card, please ask for assistance at the front desk.  You can also pay by the class for $7.00 per class.
  • Adult Belly Dance:  We are about to begin an 8-week Intro to Belly Dance/ShimmyRobics class on Tuesday, September 4th from 7:30-8:30pm.  Register now for this exciting 8-week class for $75.00 (or pay by the class for $10/class).
  • Adult Dance Classes:  We are offering Adult Dance Classes in Tap and Hip Hop – check at the front desk for class times.  These classes will begin after Labor Day.  Remember, if your child is a student, you receive a 10% discount on these adult dance classes (tap or hip hop)!

Making Payments

For your information and convenience, Crystal, our office assistant, will be working at the front desk throughout the year.  If you have any questions about your account or if you need to make a payment, please feel free to ask at the front desk for assistance.  If no one is available to assist you at the front desk, you are welcome to place payments in the locked payment box located on the side of the front counter in the main lobby.  We ask that you do NOT deposit cash in the box, checks only.  We also ask that you write the dancer’s name and what the payment is intended for (tuition, costumes, recital fee, etc.) in the memo line of the check.
